I am a London based original artist, working primarily with oils.
As a full-time office worker, I use my spare time to paint in my home studio. Portraits of people and animals are my speciality but I also enjoy still life, landscape and abstract painting.
I studied Foundation Art & Design at the Glamorgan College of Art & Design and achieved a 2:1 in BA Hons Painting at the University of Gloucestershire.
I enjoy the texture of oil paints and am especially interested in photo-realist paintings which somehow retain the texture of the paint and the mark of the brushes.
I enjoy the work of Diego Velasquez, David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, Johannes Vermeer, John Everett Millais, Frida Kahlo, Richard Hamilton, Elizabeth Peyton and Richard Phillips among others.
I am a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild, whose code of ethics I am proud to uphold.
